WHO WE ARE?

Maiia Tomskaia

Moving from the world’s coldest city, Yakutsk, to one of the warmest states of the Unites States, California, I've gained a first-hand experience in witnessing the terrifying effects of climate change. The passion to mitigate these challenges had inspired me to create a platform aimed at accelerating climate action - FreezHeat.

Eduarda Schmeiske Escaler

I come from Brazil, a country that developed itself through over-exploration of natural resources such as brazilwood tree and gold. I have always had the goal to be the change I wanted to see in the world, and was through my devotion in addressing a timeline of environmental catastrophes, and the neglect of environmental boundaries, that I became actively involved in the fight against Climate Change by being a co-managing member of the “FreezHeat” foundation.

Calista Suherman

Currently studying mechanical engineering at Skyline College, I’ve made it my life-long ambition to create technology that can enhance everyday life, resolve worldwide problems, and assist the disabled. As a head of journalism at FreezHeat, I’m exhilarated at the thought of working beside like-minded individuals who intend to implement their creative capabilities into technology to help reduce climate change.

Sophia Flagg

Sophia is a senior at Burlingame High School, who strives to pursue a biology major. Sophia's deep interest in math, music, and the environment were ideally used to address the problems of climate change when researching and writing articles on environmental movies and solutions to climate 

Elena Tomskaia

Elena is a student at California College of Arts who is currently pursuing an interior design major. When she head about FFT project, she was excited to implement her design knowledge and interest in digital drawing by creating digital paintings of Pleistocene Era Animals for FreezHeat.
